The Club Regent Casino hotel is located at 1415 Regent Avenue West and is adjacent to the Club Regent Casino. The hotel offers 146 guest rooms. The hotel has a full sized pool and hot tub on the first floor and a Nautilus exercise facility on the second floor. Nearby, you will find Kildonan Place Shopping Centre as well as many restaurants including: Applebee’s, Olive Garden and Salisbury House. Don’t expect to spend a great deal of time in your room though with the Club Regent Casino attached so you can walk straight into the casino. This is a decent hotel that we enjoy for the casino’s benefits. Our rating based on a few stays is 3 stars.

Down the street at 826 Regent Ave West is Canad Inns Transcona. This smaller hotel has 50 deluxe guest rooms with queen suites. Families will enjoy Splasher’s indoor pool and waterslide aquatic park and Aalto’s Garden Café’s buffet. This is a modest but decent family hotel in the eastern part of Winnipeg. Based on our stay, Winnipeg-Guide gives it 2.5 stars.

The Polo Park location is located at 1405 St.Matthews Ave, right across from Canad Inns Stadium, home to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. This hotel has 111 deluxe guest rooms including: executive suites, adult theme suites and kids theme rooms. This hotel is also close to the Winnipeg International Airport and within walking distance to Polo Park Shopping Centre. Like the Transcona hotel, this one also scores high with families and was an enjoyable stay worth 3 stars.

The Fort Garry is located at 1824 Pembina Highway, in the city South End, is very similar to Polo Park as it offers: Splasher’s Water Park, kids and adult theme rooms, Playmaker’s lounge and Aalto’s. Another feature of the Canad Inns Fort Garry is Celebrations Dinner Theatre where you can enjoy a delicious meal served by the actors who stay in character all evening. Our family enjoyed the combination adult theme room/kids theme room with hot tub. It offered something for everyone. We give this hotel 4 stars.

Right beside the Ft. Garry is the Fort Garry Express at 1792 Pembina Highway with 36 guest rooms. This hotel, unlike the others in the chain, does not offer a swimming pool or an Aalto’s restaurant. The hotel is designed for a quick stay that is moderately priced. It is nothing luxurious but a decent hotel. Our rating is two stars.

The Windsor Park hotel is located at 1034 Elizabeth Road. This 54 guest room’s hotel is situated close to the Royal Canadian Mint. It offers: Splasher’s indoor pool and Waterslide Park as well as the Playmaker’s lounge make this a decent family stay. Our rating is 2.5 stars.

In the western part of Winnipeg and close to Garden City Shopping Centre, is the Canad Inns Garden City. This 55 room’s hotel is very similar to the others, offering the water park, VLT’s and nightclubs. This is very much a family hotel. Our stay there was equal to a rating of 3.
